There’s a spacey, sci-fi feel to Casino Planet, which is a beautifully presented new casino site offering slots, casino games, and a huge live casino from Evolution Gaming to players.
The site is based on the conceit that there’s a planet somewhere out there in space dedicated to casino games. That’s not that attractive an idea to us – you’ve got to have more than one interest, come on! – but it’s an idea they have at least committed to in a site that has an aesthetic style and runs with it.
Casino Planet is the name on the front of the site, but it is run by Genesis Global, a Malta registered company with licensing in the UK and Malta.
Genesis Global run a number of sites, including this one, Casoola, Casino gods, Pelaa, Sloty, Spinit, and Vegas Hero. The company designs, builds and operates its own sites, not running a white label model (something like a franchising system) and has 18 sites currently up with three inactive business names.
As games are added to sites all the time it’s not possible to have an up-to-date total, but it certainly looks like this site, which was launched in 2019 has industry-standard levels of stocking across all levels of the casino scene.
When we visited there were plenty of new titles, including Dragons Fire Infinireels, Adventures of Doubloon Island, and Big Bass Bonanza. They’re coming from a great selection of providers.

1 – Licensed, legal and legitimate
We never ever recommend or review sites that are not legally allowed to operate in the UK. Currently that means they must have a licence from the UK Gambling Commission.
Genesis are the licence holder for Casino Planet, and they have a UK GC account and are also licensed in their home country of Malta (Maltese licences were accepted for UK sites until 2014 and the island is a major hub of the world gambling industry).

Sadly, we have to find some bad news for you too. Here it is!
1 – Familiarity
While Casino Planet does well with the depth of its theming and its look it is still recognisably one of a family of sites.
Genesis are a good-quality and legitimate casino site provider, but they have a large number of sites and if you’ve played at one or more of them you will find a lot of familiar things here.
2 – Small families
There’s a big selection of games, but a relatively small selection of providers. The 10 names we found were great quality providers but there’s a whole lot more out there, and hopefully Casino Planet will continue to add games and continue to bring in new providers.
3 – I see a darkness
We liked the branding of this site very much – as we’ve already mentioned several times – and we’re by no means design experts, but putting light blue text on a dark blue background isn’t the way to produce clear, easy-to-read information.
It’s a minor thing, but could be better.

Bonuses at Casino Planet
Bonuses are the major promotional tool of the casino industry. They need to be understood properly to use them safely and to get the best out of them. Most of all this means that you need to understand what purpose they serve. While bonuses appear to offer attractive free gifts, their purpose is to deliver players who will stay as long term customers and who will spend a lot of money. They are, we assume, successful at what they do.
Welcome Bonus at Casino Planet
The welcome bonus is always the biggest and most trumpeted offer at most casino sites.
Casino Planet is no different, and the headline offer is “100% up to £100”, with the addition that you will get 200 free spins.
Let’s dive into what this means.
You need to be a new player, and you need to deposit at least £10 to qualify for this bonus. You can opt out. You cannot claim this offer if you use ANY E-WALLET, including PayPal.
The wagering requirement for this bonus is 40-times, “before they can withdraw the Bonus or any winnings gained from it”. That means that you must spend, should you deposit £10 and receive £10 in bonus money, £400 of your own money before you can withdraw any money related to that bonus.
Free spins are awarded in tranches of 20, with 20 more added each day until the whole 200 have been handed over on the 10th day. Free spins stay valid for 72 hours after they are awarded and the maximum a player can win from all of them is £100, and the winnings will have a 40-times wagering requirement put on them.
Try to take out money before you’ve completed the wagering and you’ll lose it all.
You have 14 days to meet the wagering requirements. Can you see how this benefits the site: a player who deposits £10 and is then encouraged to deposit and play with £400 in just two weeks.

Let’s start with the cons: the range of providers here is relatively small. And we had a couple of minor design issues where poor colour contrast made it hard to read text. We like FAQs, but there’s a lot of good information around the site despite the lack of that. It’s a shame that users of ALL e-wallets are unable to pick up the welcome bonus.
